Job Description:

Configure and maintain in lab data network environment, including Openstack/VMware Cloud infrastructure, routers, switches, firewalls, Linux/Windows servers
Assist in development and execution of test plans analyzing the performance, features and functionality of existing or planned network elements or services
Create test environment for proof of concept projects, develop and document solutions for new and existing technologies
Work with external vendors, consultants and other Bell teams as required
Configure and maintain Lab network resource management system, ensure the data integrity and accuracy
Candidate Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN, security, MPLS, SAN/BAN, loadbalancing and DC/CLOUD technology, and various routing protocols, i.e. BGP, OSPF, OSPFv3, ISIS etc.
Understand IPv6, NAT64, DNS64, NAT/PAT, IPSEC, SSL VPN, Multicast, Network loadbalancing etc
Hands on experience with at least two of the following major product lines, including Cisco ACI, UCS, Nexus series, ASR series, Catalyst series; Juniper MX, EX and SRX series
Hands on experience with Openstack/VMware infrastructure related networking, compute and storage
Understanding wireless technology: GSM, HSPA, LTE, WiFi
Excellent communication (oral and written), time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies

CCNP/DC or equivalent certification or working experience is preferred
